my ceiling is diseased

Alan went to the office to complain about this ongoing leak saga, so a new maintenance guy is out here today. He stabbed the ceiling with his screwdriver, and this thick yellowish pus looking stuff oozed out. It was a very Aliens kind of moment. He's gone to get a better box knife to cut out the ceiling and more tools to fix whatever is leaking. Please please please let them fix it today.

Seems the problem is of course the pipes in the wall overhead. They're cutting out parts of the ceiling. I offered the guy my raincoat because the ceiling kept leaking on him.

That happened in one of my dorm bathrooms. I went to pee in the middle of the night and it took me about 5 minutes to realize it shouldn't rain indoors. Turns out the girls who lived above us tried to move their toilet. Good luck with the repair!

They tried to move their toliet? For the love of Pete why?

They've fixed the pipe and now they just need to put the place back together tomorrow. Thank god!

The endless stupidity of NYU students never ceases to amaze me. I remember that day. That was a FUN day.

A speedy recovery to your ceiling though, and hopes that this will be the Obligatory Stupid Thing that happens this week! Take care of my Roomie, kiddo. ;)

I'm crossing my fingers that it is the olibatory Stupid Catastrophe That Makes The Bride Cry. And we will stuff the Roomie with salsa. Mwuhahah. I've got a big box of it I need to mail up to y'all!
