I haven't been in a bar with such a concentration of frat mattresses in ages. There was this girl in a fuzzy pink hat that looked like a bucket, pretending to be Paris Hilton or some such nonsense. She was grinding on random guys. I saw a girl in the bathroom wearing 80s stiletto boots and cargo pants. So weird.

We went to Beer Night at the Copper Tank with our friends. (Skipped out early from work, thank god. My cell phone went off during our VP's speech and I was mortified.)

Much fun with Melynda and crew, introducing Rach to everyone. Because Rach has at last arrived! Yay! She brought us much chocolate and instant miso soup. And boxes from Tiffanys! Life is good. Yay.

So we've been having a blast, and everyone is getting along great. Dollar beers are good, even with the bad music.

I had to park at 35, so we walked a couple blocks to the car. Some guy stared at us from a block away and then tried to follow us, which was blatantly obvious. Alan warned him off. Then a guy with blood pouring down his face asked us for money. What the fucking fuck? This is why I don't go out often.

Home with liquor. Life is even better.
