Last night was hysterical for so many reasons. I have good friends and it was one of the best parties we've ever had. Given that I only know a half dozen girls, the boys came over with yet more alcohol. Grand, just grand and you can't go wrong with that. We were assuredly obnxious. But grand all the same.
I'm listening to the mix of LOTR stuff we've compiled as wedding music, and it's really cool. We had an enormous family meal tonight, and there was much conversation. Everyone got along well, and that's cool. My mom got a hair cut and now it kinda looks like Melynda's hair.
My grandmother brought us box after box of crystal and various kitchen things. But the thing that really got to me was the ring. She gave me the ring her mother gave to her on Granny's sixteenth birthday. It's an old setting with two little diamonds, and an aquamarine in the center.
Everything is really good but I'm really tired. My whole body is sore because I slept in an awkward position and didn't have room to move around. I need a bigger bed.

Enjoy the cheekhurting happiness, breathe and remember all the little moments. yoga thoughts of "stay in the moment" help some, but getting swept away is good too :)
