Few things compare to the sort afternoon light, coffee and cigarettes, Belgian waffles with jam and butter, a book in my lap and a blanket, watching my husband play on the XBox in his bathrobe and knowing that this is home.

Nothing should be able to compare to that - ever. If there is any sense of order and justice in the world someday I'll be in a position to be as happy as you two are. I can almost taste it, and that's why I understand what it means to you.
