Recommend to me three livejournal people I should read. Who do you read most, and why? Whose posts do you look forward to? There's a world out there I don't know anything about. I'll recommend a few people from my own list, in no paticular order.
Lyeta has a wicked sense of wit, and a formidable intelligence. She's an expert on Slavics and Spontaneous Human Combustion. (Her bird is a UFO expert.) I think someone should give us a lot of money so we can have an International House of Cupcakes.
Catelin is one of my personal role models. She is the ultimate Texas woman, beautiful, brilliant and tougher than the wildlife. I think everyone could learn something from Cate. Plus, she writes better than anyone I know.
Mistersleepless is where Warren Ellis posts odds and ends. If you're not already reading it, get thee hence. The man is an evil genius.
Ladyjaida is a paradox to me. So young, but with such a boundless mind. Anyone who can go from delighted fangirl squeaks of joy over a Hobitt signed shoe to brilliant and devastating paragraphs about life is someone to read.

Date: 2004-01-01 11:36 pm (UTC)googlebrat (http://www.livejournal.com/users/googlebrat) veers off a little differently. Sometimes she has thoughtful posts, but she does a lot of song and quote posting also. She's nuts and every now and then has something interesting to read.
*waves from a random user* Found you earlier when I was looking through "Most Recent Posts". =)

althaea. No matter what, read her. Sometimes it feels like watching the crunchiest, rawest kind of performance art, but it's real and it's riveting. Read her Salon.com blog as well. Almost always completely different material, just as well done.
sailorjim. The ol' Sailor has been entertaining parts of the Usenet for years with posts that he swears are at least 87.4% true (and often 125-plus percent funny as hell). Especially read this and then this. Classic SJJ, and exactly the kind of shit that happens to him.
paularubia. She is Teh K00li0 and I'd go on a Texas Blue Highways road trip with her at the drop of a hat.
