I hate the PA system at work

Working since 1:17pm, and I can safely say I've never been more bored. There's not anything for me to do, and when I ask to be assigned to some other task, I get the runaround. Fine. If they won't give me work, I'll read the bloody New York Times instead. I'm contemplating going out, buying a handgun and returning to blow every speaker out of the ceiling. I've been listening to crappy 70s disco and pop since this afternoon. This does not put me in a good mood. I can't tell if I'm too tired to care, or if I'm spoiling for a fight.

Supposedly, supposedly, maintenance came after we went to work to fix the pipes? I don't know.

I need a lot of money so I can go home.
