threeplusfireWeekends are simply not long enough.
Every now and then Alan curses or cheers loudly. I can chart his progress through Day of Defeat without even looking at the screen. Actually I'm thinking about playing. Need to find a mouse, because this touchpad just isn't going to cut it for online gaming.
He opened up my laptop earlier, and thinks the problem with the power is something in the board itself. I'm having the same trouble with the new cord I did with the old. Oh well. At least there is wireless at Metro.
Because of the new smoking regulations, Metro will have to start carding at the door. No more under eighteen patrons. I'm not exactly sure how I feel about this. On one hand, I won't miss the obnoxious high school kids who come in on the weekends, scam cigarettes and behave like goons. But I will miss laughing at the especially awful ones.
I started going to Metro in high school. A girl named Coco drove Christian and I down there in the middle of the night, after I snuck out. When I rode the bus down to the Drag, I would sit upstairs by the window. I used to watch the college kids enviously. It's hard to find a good place to go when you're a teenager.
Had an email from Michael today and it was good to hear from him. I was a little worried he would find it weird after so long.
I'm thinking about quitting smoking. Not immediately, but sometime sooner rather than later. It's lame than my consideration is based more on cash flow than health concerns, but that's the way it is. In the interim, while I think this over, I'm tyring to cut down on my daily smoking. Instead of that extra cigarette, I suppose I'll wander the halls of work.
