Now that I've had a night's rest, I am less in a panic that all our jobs will disappear to India. Also, I seem to be the only person unaware of what a flaming idiot Orson Scott Card is. I really should pay more attention to the world.

However, I am extremely sad to learn I completely missed word that David Bowie was coming to town. Tickets are gone already. Suck, suck, suck. I am so mad at myself, but I didn't see any word in the Chronicle or anywhere else! Damn it.

I apparently had only an inkling of Card's stupidity, so you're not really the only one.

Seems like, fairly often, brilliant writers are abysmally stupid in real life.
