So much dreaming, the kind that blends into daylight as one tries to wake. For awhile, I thought I was someone else entirely. Those moments are rare, and I treasure them. It's the closest I'll ever come to having an entirely different life.

What a shame I have to go to work tonight, instead of staying home and contemplating a thousand worlds far away from my own.

Hehehe no giant vanilla bean. Though I did see big vanilla beans on an episode of Iron Chef this weekend.

I always found those moments too disorienting, unable to remember who or where i am.
While reading one of Bradley's Avalon novels, I convinced myself to sleep through my alarm because "priestesses don't have alarm clocks." I finally had to stop reading on the Dune books; the spice dreams got to be too much.

The only books that had an immediate and recognizable link to my dreams were Lovecraft's. I ahd utterly terrifying dreams the first two days. The rest, they just lurk around in there.
