Despite Melynda waking me up at the ungodly hour of noon, it's been a lovely day. We went out to Houstons for lunch, where I had the seared ahi salad with cilantro lime vinegarette, mango and avocado. Delightful and decadent and even kind of healthy. We topped the meal off with a dish of fresh raspberries and blueberries covered in vanilla whipped cream and golden sugar.
Alan was a bit cranky this morning. Apparently work was weird and sucktacular last night. Poor guy. Hopefully we can have a better evening tonight, just the two of us.
UT is having the annual open house and there's a line down the block of people waiting to get into the Co-op. I can't imagine why, but I'm so glad I'm not there. Instead we're camped out in Metro with the wireless and coffee. There's good music on, the weather is gorgeous and warm, and life is overall pretty good.
I'm feeling very creative and engaged. We've come up with a delightful plot twist for the TSW game, I'm writing all kinds of things, and my brain just feels on today.
