threeplusfireI keept thinking of odd early 90s movies with those soundtracks full of Pearl Jam, Mudhoney, the Screaming Trees and such. My day has been very different from what I planned.
Went to the gym with Brett this afternoon and walked out with a membership. I know, completely and utterly out of character. But it was fun to have someone there to talk to, and make fun of CNN while zooming through 30 minutes on the cross trainer machines. There's a pool, and a giant hot tub, and the locker room has actual shower stalls. The deciding factor is that I can go anytime all week. Fantastic.
So now that I've made a big financial commitment to this I should go buy some actual sneakers. I've not ever owned a pair. More workout clothes and such. Brett and I are going shopping in an hour, and then to Metro for virtuous coffee and smoking. Hah.
Life is weirdly good.
