I just had my nose start bleeding. This is not happiness. This is me trying not to hyperventilate or scream. this me trying to assure myself a nosebleed could be mostly innocent and not a sign of impending death. This is me being the idiotic sort of person who hyperventilates and freaks out over a nose bleed.

Ack! I used to have those a lot as a child. They can be frightening. The best thing is just to remain calm and try to get the bleeding to stop. Hopefully it's a sign of nothing!

I spent ten minutes handing backwards out of my office chair. ;)

Um, I don't know about you, but I get nosebleeds all the time. And it's been like that since I was, like, 8 or 9.

And see! I'm still alive. *hugs*

Phew!
I've never had one before, except once when I got hit in the face.

a bloody nose is just a tiny burst bloodvessel, which heals right back -- and noone's ever died from that. i get nosebleeds all the time in winter/spring, because of dryness caused by indoor heating. chances are, it's nothing. try not to blow your nose too hard for the next couple of days, and you should be ok.

I'm a bit phobic of bleeding that I don't know the cause of, hence the paranoia. Anytime something goes wrong, part of my brain screams "Tumor! Death! Doom!" ;)

Good to know. Thanks.

Probably nothing, often and usually caused by all sorts of weird and trivial things.

[identity profile] tsarina.livejournal.com 2004-04-02 08:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Indeed. And promptly fifteen minutes later I jammed my finger and made the tip go numb. This is not my day.

Feeeeeeeeeh.
I had to drink with the Germans. I don't think it's anyone's day.

Eesh, drinking with the Germans? That's only good if you're in Germany with the tasty beers.

This was so not that. But we ordered pizza to the bar, so that was groovy.

Unfortunately now I can't stop sneezing and that seems baaad.

[identity profile] tsarina.livejournal.com 2004-04-02 08:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Perhaps you are allergic to the Germans.

[identity profile] rm.livejournal.com 2004-04-03 06:25 am (UTC)(link)
I strongly suspect so.
I am allergic to the Boston Globe. Whenever I code it at wro I start sneezing like crazy.
