First, pretentious drama in the Bad RPers Suck community. As so many icons say Bitch, please. We're not jealous of people who like to throw big words around like they are God's gift to the world. When I want to play that game, I hang around the liberal arts departments at the university because that is the palce for it. But then, I can't take anyone seriously when her user info states she is part of the Adolf Hitler fanlisting.

Then we have Cooking community drama! Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? Haven't we all known that foie gras is made from big fatty livers for ages now? I realize this may be news to this little girl, but the cooking community just isn't the place to get on a soap box about eating. Post where someone cares, kid.

There are a lot of people on the internet who annoy me.

Well yes....

Aren't the annoying people sort of part of the Internet's charm in a way? At least here you can easily ignore them and/or mock them.

And they provide endless opportunity for LJ posts :D

I think they are initially, because the force you to acknowledge that really stupid scary people exist in the world. As time goes on, it just makes me tired and more in favor of procreation licenses, education reform, and beatings.

Stupidity should be painful to those who display it instead of those who have to deal with it. :p

Who ultimately gets to choose what/who is stupid?

*Let it be me!*

And by "beatings," I assume you're referring to the nonconsensual kind.

Severely noncensual beatings. I'm thinking of reclassifying all crime. Things that get you kicked, beaten, shot, run over by a bus, etc.

:D

I'll have to put that slogan on all the nightsticks of my stormtroopers. Mwuhahahah.

There is at least some comfort in routine

Which brings us, inescapably, to the turkey vultures.

Precisely. Everyone needs shock troops and that's what the turkey vultures are for! With pointy WWI German helmets.

How funny. When I read that this morning on cooking I thought "that is gonna annoy Amanda"

My clairvoyance is astounding.

Hahahahahaha. Right on psychic powers!

See, I try not to eat many internal organs because I like to pretend they don't exist. They freak me out. It's my ridiculous phobia.

If I need super rich food, I'll get Alan to make another $12 meatball. Mmm, yay for Whole Foods and their superb meat counter.

If you want to make superrich meatballs for actually putting in italian food -- half pound ground sweet sausage, half pound ground veal, chopped garlic, bread crumbs, oregano, small egg.
Cook right in your tomato sauce.

Herman Melville did say something about cannibalism being less cruel than eating pate de foie grois. But then, I think he was mostly advocating cannibalism. And he didn't post that to a cooking community. :-)

Bwahahah. Melville had the sense to keep his argument to his own book. :P

If I were going to eat people, it would have to be either the French or the Japanese. I imagine their diets would make them quite tasty. But no eating Americans! Too salty.
