working out the kinks

Alan, Brett and I all went to the gym tonight. It was a good workout, and I lifted tiny weights. Well, tiny compared to the weights other people were lifting. But I thought doing some of those arm routines from my Cindy Crawford workout video with five pound weights couldn't be bad. It went fairly well, and I think I'll have to start doing that more often.

Right now I am contemplating how many times a week I should go to the gym. Sometime next week we shall get Alan signed up so he may go lift large, manly weights.

I just heard someone on television call the Pentagon building a satanic symbol. Bwahaha! That was your daily out of context bizarre quote.

Go to the gym everyday :) Well, that should be your goal, then if you miss a few days you'll end up with 5 workouts in the week and that's perfect. If you actually go everyday, I gaurantee you'll see results faster.

Are you doing cardio & weight training? I'd suggest cardio 4-5 times a week and weight training 0-2 times a week. Despite what people say, I lost a lot of weight doing cardio only, so I think it's the way to go. I was toned, too.

As for 5 pound weights, they aren't tiny at all. Women should really do more reps instead of larger weights, if that makes sense. Men are looking for size, we're looking to get cut up, slender, and strong. So lots of reps with "tiny" weights (up to 12 pounds which is easy to work your way up to) is awesome.

The gym is so close to work, and it is against the normal rush hour traffic flow, so it's pretty easy to get to from there. Thanks for the advice.
