It was interesting to see that the Gateway had six midnight showings all under one roof. The parking lot was packed and I heard the ushers talking about people waiting in the hallways for hours and hours. It made me sad because I didn't do anything bizarre. Without Melynda around, we can't organize group outings worth a damn. I left a message on her cell phone from the theater.

There were a few things left in the wayside, but such is the way of movies made from rich books. I can forgive much when the result is so splendid.

Now I'm off to work, where I shall suffer all day.

Tom said to tell Alan that he curled up in to the fetal position and cried like a little girl when I told him Alan wouldn't be in today.

The sad thing is, that would have been an improvement over what acutally happened... :p
