Maybe it was the glass of wine I needed to fall asleep, or that I forgot to turn on the ceiling fan, or just the dreams themselves. Though the dreams were remarkable only in their colored, video game quality and for the presence of people not seen in some time. Metro, high school graduation, houses on the lakeshore, Jeremiah, the Snow Queen and other strange figures.

Mostly it was after a few hours of heavy sleep I woke up smothering a scream and covered in sweat. This happened last night. The next few hours were spent rolling over, snatching light twenty minute handfuls of sleep.

If I can't get a decent night of sleep, I will go mad.

I hate that I have to resort to sleeping pills sometimes. But I have a great difficulty sleeping most of the time. I think Rusty takes it personally sometimes, but its pretty much a problem for me all the time. I feel your pain :-(
