why am I watching this?

So... the big secret is that M Night Shamalan sees dead people? That's the impression I'm getting from this insane program on the SciFi channel. This whole thing with the dead boy in the pond and Night almost dying is too bizarre.

I think they are attempting to prove he draws some weird mystic power from the Philadelphia area right now.

If Johnny Depp says you are too weird, you probably are too weird.

ETA That's Exactly what they are trying to say, that all of his films are somehow autobiographical. Too freaking weird. I am kinda curious why he freaked the hell out and his handler had a fit when that was suggested.

Either great publicity or just complete insanity.

ETA 2 The crows are weird enough, but the ghost boy in the mirror? That's either some nice editing, or really really fucking creepy. Would the Sci-Fi channel risk their reputation that way though? I don't know.

There's a South Park marathon on. Much better.

But the creepy! I'm trying to figure out if it is a huge publicity stunt for Night or not.

I saw it advertised. I'm glad I didn't watch.

It was weirdly entertaining. The crows! They protect him! Heh.

Reputation? Since when are they known for their documentaries? :)

Their reputation as a business. It seems like a bad idea to do something to alienate someone who is so popular in their genre.
