threeplusfireOur day has been lovely, and perhaps the best day I've had all summer. We went out to eat, delicious nova lox, salami, cole slaw and an egg salad sandwich. It was pretty good.
I am so creeped out by the Priceline commercials, as an aside.
Anyhow, there was an enormous accident on 183 south so we killed time until we could head back that way. I introduced Alan to the joys of World Market. I love that store. So many random things! They had the most perfect lether chair that felt like it was just made me for me. Too bad I can't justify $600 for a chair. But it really was the best chair ever.
I wanted to buy these heavy candlesticks but I restrained myself. Instead I picked up some ginger incense, marzipan chocolate, some other fancy european chocolates, earl grey tea leaves, raspberry gummies and Crushed Melon Jones soda. I jumped with glee when I saw the soda. I love Jones and it's been forever since I found the Crushed Melon flavor on the shelves. Mmm delicious.
I decided our old shower curtain was too scummy to bother cleaning, and picked up a new liner. Yay clean shower. We picked up giant bottles of Hawaiian Punch, some milk, and then to the liquor store for delicious alcohol. They had a large bottle of slivovice up on a shelf, but I couldn't buy it.
Back home, for lazing. Our cat has a big fluffy belly and Alan has taken to calling him Marshmallow.
