I love to watch Svetlana Khorkina compete. She's something else, certainly. Dramatic, tall, thin, graceful, fearless in her moves. She's the most successful female Russian competitor even in her sport. She's got moves on the uneven bars named after her. Khorkina is 25 now, and I have the feeling this might be her last Olympic competition.

Tonight I meant to do more than just laundry and watching the Olympics. Alas. At least the clothes are mostly clean. Must clean clean clean before the inlaws arrive on Saturday.

My hat blank arrived. I must now decide how to trim and decorate it.

There will have to be pictures when you are done.

One day maybe we'll have a disposable camera or something. I think I'm the last person without a digital camera.

Na, that would be me.

This is Khorkina's last games - she apparently announced that a while ago.

I watched her and thought "Damn, I know they've already cast Charlize Theron as Aeon Flux, but this gymnast has a body like the Peter Chung animation..."

But yes, amazing to watch. :)

She does! We were just talked about Aeon Flux at the office and Khorkina would be great for that! Maybe she could be Theron's stunt double.
