Oh my god.

You know, I've heard from several different sources that Bush will rock out in the debates. But every single time he opens his mouth, he sounds like an angry child who has been called on an obvious falsehood. It's amazing! What the fucking fuck? I don't understand. Does this man not live in the real world with the rest of us? He's terrible at this.

Kerry is thankfully coming off as calm, poised and factual. He's poked some giant holes in Bush's statements.

If I were taking shots for every time Bush said "um" I would be drunk now. Each time he does that, someone on his team must cringe.

We can't change our opinions as our information changes? Fuck you Bush. How dare you question our patriotism when we question your lies?

drunkards, ho!!

We had an entire cadre of rules as to what and how to drink when Bush said something or other, whether "scary words" (terrorism, attacks, 9/11) and whenever he repeated key phrases like "multi-pronged" or "freedom and sovereignty of Iraq." My favorite? Whenever Kerry put him on the defensive and made an "angry Bush." Needless to say, it's been a long night.

I'm glad to say that I have supported Kerry since the primaries. Intellectually, charismatically, and emotionally, he won this debate. Hands down.

The drinking rules were debated all day in Alan's bay. It's almost as much fun as the State of the Union game!

I agree- Kerry came off as the better man in this one.
