she moves and it's fire

So watching the OU game was disasterous. Not only did it make my head hurt from the tension and the eventual loss, there were so many fricking Sooners in the bar! Ugh. We played pretty well in the first half and then it just started to fall apart.
I completely freaked the waitress out by ordering dessert at 10:30am in the morning. She looked at me like she expected me to tell her I was joking. It was a little awkward. I also ended up -accidentally- body checking the Sooner chick in the ladies room. She was trying to squeeze past me into the stall before I was all the way out! Bitch, please.
So afterwards we went to Texpresso for coffee and cards. But some goddamned motherfucking bastard got them in trouble with the city for allowing smoking. Despite submitting their plans showing the seperate ventilation system and paying the $300, the city fucking turned them down. God damn it. These things are complaint based, so you know some bloody stupid California health nazi ratted them out. They have a seperate fucking room and ventilation system! Fuck you fuck you fuck you.
If you want your non-smoking businesses, build them. If you want your smoking businesses, build them. But don't you fucking dare presume to make that decision for me. Motherfucker. If I catch the person responsible for taking away yet another coffee shop haven for me, I'll put my cigarettes out on their feet.
Thankfully it was a beautiful day outside, so we scrunched some little tables together and played Shanghai for a bit. Melynda and I went on down to Best Buy afterwards, where we picked up Dangerous Liasons and Firefly. I came very, very close to buying the first two seasons of Dallas on dvd. Very close. I wish I had now.
So we're lazing around now, watching Firefly and eating chips. It's good, and it makes it a bit easier to bear. The show is pretty entertaining, and the scene composition is fantastic. There are some beautiful shots, some things put together in a way far more artistic than one usually sees for television. It's also pretty damn funny.
