wine and movie night

threeplusfireThe AC in my car has gone out. Why, you might say, it's October and that shouldn't matter! In Texas where October can be 95 with high humidity, it does. I'm soaked with sweat from driving to Firestone to pick up Alan and take him back. We can hardly afford a serious repair now, especially as Alan had to replace his tires today. The tread was gone, gone, gone.
In a fit of madness, we bought several bottles of our favorite wines from the liquor store. Red wine is good for you, anyhow. So we'll have wine and movie nights, different bottles for different dvds. The liquor store rep gave us tshirts, and I bought a bottle of raspberry cognac that is suprisingly tasty and not too sweet. All things in moderation.
