I finally fixed the madness of the collar and the lapels of my jacket. I knew if I walked away from it long enough that it would be okay. Now just to do the sleeves and hem it up. Yay coat.

I need a maid. Someone please hire me a maid to come in and just clean the hell out of the house so I can start over. It would make life so much better.

I ate some bizarre blackberry anise cake today. It was however quite beautiful.

Why do I get up every day?

I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow and I really do not want to go.

Sure! They are pretty easy. The hardest part is cutting the fabric straight, I think.

do you make fancy pillows like ones that have closures in the middle or two different fabrics etc?
i have a pattern for pillows "asian inspired" designs but i haven't tried them yet

I made one pillow that closed in the middle, but I glued a sash round the middle. The other ones are just basic square or rectangular shapes. I have not made a really fancy one yet.

I actually just used a glue gun and plain old glue to tack the sash along the seam of the fabric. It was a fix, because I stuff the pillow before I put the sash on, which was a mistake. Oops. It seems to hold up okay though.

Sundays are also good days for me. Let me find out if we are camping at the Renfest that weekend.
