threeplusfireRachel's party was fun. Only one burst ballon and a pack of cigarettes knocked off the balcony. Low carnage for our crowd, but some of our heavy drinking entertainers were not there. Damn it Gene, I would have made you climb down there and find my cigarettes.
Jennifer's boyfriend John makes excellent margaritas. I haven't had a margarita, in oh say eight months. I like them, even though I know the tequila will give me a headache. Doesn't matter how many I drink. It also cracks me up to say Jennifer and John, as those are two of the most ordinary names and these are not ordinary people.
I ate several tasty wontons and only a little candy. I was very good. Making all these changes to my diet to pre-empt the lecture I'll get from the doctors is a little sad. I like my sweets, and I love to bake. I suppose I will have to do less of it or just give it all away. Yesterday we picked up lots of fish, and some salmon chorizo. I don't ask what goes into the chorizo, I just know I like it. But since this was made of salmon, it had much less fat and thus I could have chorizo and egg breakfast tacos yesterday! Yay. Today it's going to be white fish with a mango avocado pico. Mmmm ripe mango.
Tonight all I want to do is have a little candy, watch some absurd movies and maybe write a little.
