progressive, like a fever

What a world we live in now, with nifty graphics and icons for everything.

I dream about Meier, more often than one might imagine. It's strange to say you have a relationship with something you created out of thin air, or in my case out of pencil and paper and dice. I feel at times like he's almost my own, a child of my heart rather than of my body. I want so much for Meier, perhaps more than he wants for himself. So I keep writing and winding words together in a very long braid. One day it will be a novel, something to read under the comfort of a blanket.

I might do that at some point. It's just that the writing right at the moment is very raw and I'm so self conscious about it. I haven't spent a lot of time revising my sentence structures, so it isn't as beautiful as I would like it to be yet.

Yay you!

You fucking rock.

Thanks. I'm amazed at how much easier this is with some discipline to it. (At heart I'm a terribly lazy creature.)

Did you ever finish your story about the grove and the keepers and I am completely blanking on the name? I liked the idea a lot.

Nope.

But jsut 'cause I didn't finish that particular story doesn't mean that it didn't live on... I've written a couple of tidbits in [livejournal.com profile] ittod, but by and large, it's continued to live on in my imagination.

I think I grew bored with the origins idea and have moved things forward. The problem, of course, is that I want to follow both Kethrin and Jim... I've a thousand ideas for one, the other and occasionally both... The Acheri idea, which was the original NaNoWriMo novel idea this year was another in the Valkyor saga...

I like teh characters too much to drop 'em.

I have been meaning to say this for a while but I am happy that you are starting to write your novel. It looks like you are making some really good progress.

Keep it going.

Thanks, I'm enjoying it. It's just barely started and I hope I can keep going after November.

The thing is to pace your self. I have to be honest in that for the past few months I have done very little with that damn long story that I have been working on. Between working somewhere around 60 plus hours a week and the difficulties that I am currently going under that I told you about earlier, it just seams as when I get home I just do not have anything left in me to even look at it.

But… again, it is good to see that you are enthusiastic.
