obligatory thanksgiving post

- I can't decide if I'm thankful or not that I'm not in the Ukraine

- I'm thankful my health is more or less good, and that the muscle damage to my arms is fixable

- I'm thankful that many people have enjoyed my baking, and that I get to share the pies and treats

- I'm thankful that we have a warm and dry place to sleep, and can afford food, painkillers and the luxury of film

- I'm thankful for the internet, despite its myriad flaws, because I can always find something there

- On that note, I'm thankful for my livejournal

- I'm thankful for the people out there who are good, who are smart and who strive to be better people in their own ways

- I'm thankful for the people in my life who make it better

You should be happy to hear that the Supreme Court of Ukraine has suspended the publication of the election results, essentially stopping finality to the election, until they have time to look at complaints of rigging. I do not know if this will change anything but hay at least it looks like they are trying to appear to be bipartisan.

I think the entire government is splitting under the strain and scutiny.
