the not so good morning

I spent several hours doing laundry this morning only to find it still achingly wet at the end of the dryer cycle. I drove to several places to have my car inspected, only to find them closed or with lines that meant more than an hour's wait. I went to the grocery store for cat litter to find several million people crowding the lot and the aisles. I found the library of my childhood closed and the woods around it torn down. I hate 2004.
