Melynda I think I found Malfoy Manor. It's even in the right part of England. We must move in there right away. Surely we can convince the British to sell it to us yes? I want us to run off and live there, and our friends can come visit from time to time.
I'm in love with wilton House. I have been reading a great deal of Jane Austen and essays on her work. It's very interesting, and while I understand why I avoided some of her novels because of the emphasis on happy endings and marriage I still remain captivated by the setting. It's really quite interesting.
(Oh Melynda - Alan wants his piece of fic to be about an A&M yell leader and a UT football player. Hah! I am dying of the laughter.)

Is there some reason LJ has exploded with drama and snippiness this morning? Usually I don't have to look farther than the posts about kosher food and vegetarians in the cooking community for that. I have nothing useful to say except that such drama doesn't do anyone any good.
Start your year on a friendly note. I would just like to open up the virtual space bar and offer all vistors tasty beverages of choice and the opportunity to be merry. All are welcome. Let's sing
Beatles songs and act like all you really need is love to make the world better.

*Sigh* It's too bad really because nothing quite gets one worked up as a good UT vs. A&M game.
