no donughts for me

Ran errands this afternoon. While my car was being inspected, I saw an ambulance, several police cars, a fire truck and another emergency vehicle scream past on the access road of 183. When I left the auto place, I drove down the road to the highway entrance ramp. I was thinking of stopping and buying some donughts to share with my roommates. However, this didn't happen as the Dunkin Donughts parking lot was crammed with police cars, ambulances, etc. I'm not quite sure what happened, but from the scene it looked like someone had crashed into the wall on 183 just past Oak Knoll, rolled across the access road & wound up in front of the Dunkin Donughts. The car was perched on the railing on the edge of the narrow drive-through lane and facing the wrong way. Cars were pulled over everywhere. Must have been a spectacular accident, I'm so glad I missed it and the donughts. (If you are familiar with the area, you can perhaps picture what a bizarre and scary accident this must have been)

Tonight I think I will study lots of Czech, and perhaps a little government. Maybe look up some more astronomy. This last week of school is crammed with stuff to do. Exams in every class. At least I recited my Czech rhyme today quite well. Professor P. told us many wonderful stories that I may have to write up here later. They are probably so exciting only to me. But she really is an amazing woman, and I think one day I will write a book about her.

hm, oh no, the strongest craving for dunkin' donuts plagued me through last night (but they were closed), but then i had forgotten it, and now i am tempted to leave my work and skip down the street for a donut or three..

I seem to make everyone think they need donughts

I am very lucky, that the Dunkin near my house is open nonstop. I like the ones stuffed with chocolate icing and covered in powdered sugar. Damn crazy Austin drivers.

Anyways, I hope if you run down to get donughts, that no one crashes their car in front of the place. ;) Mmmm donught.
