It's rather cold outside.

Today I saw a bird smash into the side of the building and fall to the sidewalk quite dead. It was rather unsettling.

I have homework that needs doing.

What a disturbingly enjoyable bird story. As my dad would say "that's what he gets for being a bird". I like animals, really.

What made it really creepy was someone in the class talking later about how in her family if a bird smashes into your window that someone will die. She says it always happens. Eep.
