I made a quiche tonight, with spinach and shrimp inside. It was my big cooking project for the week. Mmm quiche. Flaky, crispy crust.

It took an hour and a half to get to the store and get home. IH-35 was a parking lot this afternoon because of a wreck. There was a horrific one on monday where an 18-wheeler smashed a car into the median barrier. I saw a photo in the paper of the wreckage, and there was a stain or red dripping down the concrete. It was a bit gruesome.

I am exhausted today. Is it really Wednesday? Time goes by so fast now.

My mother's fever is breaking. She still has to stay at home for a week, and full recovery will take even longer.

I keep looking through soap sites I find on the BPAL forums. But I have been good and not purchased any for myself!
