(no subject)

I just ate a roasted almond truffle and might explode from pleasure.

Today was my first day on the phones. I took nine calls, which I think is pretty good for a first try. My very first one was a serious emergency situation, so that was exciting. My last call was from a woman in a state hospital. She informed me she was related to President George Bush, and that demons were invading her ward. one of the demons was her dead ex-husband, who fried in the electric chair because he killed her and her children. Yes, you read that sentence. Imagine my delight with that call!

But it was a good day, and I feel less nervous and skittish. My peer trainer said I did extremely well with my calls.

My kitchen is so dirty. All I want to do is lay in the bath.

Wow... those must be pretty tough calls to take. The calls I take (when doing inbound) involve arthritis in dogs.

They can be pretty scary. But there are a lot of them where it's a parent fighting for custody, so they just call to complain about the other parent. "She left them eat pizza all weekend and their fingernails are dirty!" That sort of thing. ;)
