I as too tired to write last night, thinking about the highway shutdowns, the chocolate pie I was working on, the old sci-fi novels I want to read, all the money I've spent on absurd things in six months... I'm so tired after work.

Yesterday was beautiful, the perfect day. And I was stuck inside except for those precious cigarette breaks.

I had strange, strange dreams. Very unsettling. I dreamed of Lucius, young and reckless in trousers and button down shirts. It was a dark world, like the setting of MXO. Rain and stone and things that appeared whole even in their ruin. My dreams have been darker and more vivid than usual.
