It's sprinkling outside, and it is such a summer smell to me. Fresh water hitting warm concrete, stony and wet. I love that.

Today is my last day of being 24. It's lame, I admit, but turning 25 has really been bothering me. I'm not ready for that quarter century mark. I'm not prepared to be in that new demographic, or to really be able to classify myself as an adult. I've not ever had that perception, in college or even when I got married. I've just felt rather young. Twenty five feels strange, looming.

Of course, everyone will chime in and chastise me for only being 25. But like Melynda said, it's old enough in some ways to have the midlife crisis. I could only live fifty years. Scary thought.

Work has been slightly quieter than the past few days. School is letting out, so there is some drop in call volume. It's still busy though.

I don't know what I will do tomorrow. I think I'll come home a little early from work, take a long bath, go out to dinner. It should be nice. I need to go to the post office, I have things to mail out for swaps on the BPAL boards.

I got my first Springtime in Arkham order. I'm in love with Tulzcha, which is six kinds of mint with white pepper and cucumber. It's tingly and cold, a mellow mixed mint. I love it.

Luckily our average life span is longer than that… if it was not I would be screwed… but of course a palm reader once told me that I was going to die at 25 so that means that I only got 7 months, 4 days, and 17 hours and 5 minutes lefts… *smiles*
