I had a really difficult final call today, involving a case that's in the media. My caller broke my heart in a way that I wasn't expecting. I cried on the drive home.

Today I'm wearing Chimera, which is a damn beautiful scent. Honeysuckle, myrrh, cinnamon and copal. It's like velvet, sweet and spicy and rich. Heaven in the vial.

My mother said she would make my favorite cake - white cake with chocolate frosting. Mmm delicious.

I just want to curl up with my magazine and enjoy the cool cloudy weather. Yay rain all weekend!
