So, how long has your oldest LN character been around? 2002-06-24 though I didn't start playing him until September or so. I took over from a player who vanished.
If you've been there all along:
Was your character different in the beginning? Quite. He progressively went insane.
How? He was a bit more controlled, more sadistic and cruel.
Are you ashamed of anything you had your character do/say in those early days? Not really. I do kind of cringe when I read the logs with one of the early Narcissas where the Malfoys had a profoundly ugly domestic violence incident.
Before you created your first LN character, did you lurk? Not really. I was invited in and just jumped head first.
Has your writing improved since LN? One would hope! I am not sure. I don't write a lot I share these days.
How many LN characters have you played? Just the one. Good old Lucius Malfoy.
Have you ever had a character die? Not in LN, though I know exactly how he will die one day.
Have you ever had to give up a character? nope
Why?
Were any of your characters straight? Well, Lucius was an omnivore in the sexual realm.
If so, why? He was married and did have an heir. Presumably he had sex with Narcissa at least a few times! Hah.
And most importantly: Why? Well it made sense for the character.
Have any of your characters ever:
killed: Oh yes. It was a nasty habit with Lucius. He enjoyed it too much.
loved: Indeed. Lucius loved a little too much and didn't say it enough.
lied: Well of course.
died: no.
been brought back to life: nope.
used any of the forbidden curses: All the freaking time!
graduated from Hogwarts: Way back when.
given birth: No, I find the whole mpreg thing a bit creepy.
had children: Yes, a son and daughter.
been married: for a long time to his long suffering and adoring wife.
been blindfolded: probably.
been raped: yes.
raped: yes.
blackmailed another: just another aspect of the business.
passed out drunk: Lucius was quite a lush.
been skinny dipping: not that I recall.
Do any of your characters have a romantic backstory with any of the following:
Harry Potter: No
Hagrid: Hahahha. No.
The squid: Nope.
Filch: No.
Dumbledore: No.
Voldemort: Well, not really romantic. More like creepy, slavish devotion.
Snape: Only the greatest love of his life.
Tybalt Montague: No.
Were any of your characters ever in bed with Tom Riddle? If not, did they ever meet him/talk to him.
Lucius and Tom had a very peculiar, strange relationship. Love/hate really. And he did end up sleeping with Riddle, against any rationality or reason.
What was:
The ultimate LN!OTP: hmm. Hard for me to say. I think the most enduring couple in the game was Oliver/Marcus. My heart wants to say Lucius/Snape.
The most interesting character: There were so many: Snape, Tom, Narcissa...
The most disturbing couple: Definitely Bill & Lucius
The weirdest thing you ever RPed: The Lucius/Bill/Aidan debacle
The saddest thing you ever RPed: Some of the scenes between Lucius and Severus
Your favourite character: can I pick my own? Hah! I loved Snape.
Your least favourite character: hmmm. I remember disliking some of the student character who were kinda ridiculous. In character, my character disliked Aidan intensely.
Your LN soundtrack: Usually Melynda and Gene in the living room, often late night early morning noises of the apartment. Lots of Joy Division, Taty, The Pixies, David Bowie.
How is Tibet at this time of year? I have no idea.
Is smut the question or is it the answer? Always the question. Aim for balance, I suppose.
