tattoo buddies

Last night I watched Sarah and Tyler get tattoos. It was much fun. They are both fine, fine tattoos. In the end, Tyler's side was rather painful so I drove home. Still getting used to the shift on that car.

Today, I'm getting a tattoo. I would have gotten one last night, but there was not time.

Sorry, I just have to be a bit facetious here.... I feel the need to point out that you rarely have to ask people if they 'still have the tattoo'.

I have a tattoo and understand that. I meant does she only have one tattoo, or has she gotten others since then. I think that intent is fairly clear in the sentence I wrote.
