Tyler's sofa is very comfy. Aside from the buffalo upstairs neighbors, it's quite a pleasant place to sleep.

I finally bought a new handbag yesterday. It's grey with a pattern of fleur-de-lys and has pockets. It's big enough to stuff a book inside, which was the most important criteria.

I think Melynda wants a bit ore of Austin food before she goes home. I have a craving for pancakes. Last night we ate at Piccolo Cafe, which was delicious. I had the veal in cream sauce with shrimps, and a nice glass of port for dessert. The tiramisu was heavenly and light, perfectly fluffy.

god lord you have been eating well lately :) luck girl! i'd be envious but i have some farm tomatos, basil and fresh mozerella calling my name... "make me into caprese salad!" it says....

also a small cantalope that constantly greets me with its scent when i go downstairs. so i'm not *that* deprived!

It was definitely a good week for food. Mmm. I want fresh mozarella now.
