I knew I hated I10 for a good reason.

Melynda has just now made it to the Katy Mills Mall area, after several hours of driving. She's on half a tank of gas. She's trying to find a place to fill up the tank.

I am a bit unhappy about this.

They have deployed gas trucks along the road to fill up tanks of people running out of fuel. Hopefully she'll see one of those.

The drive from her home to the mall usually takes 20 minutes. I hope they are going that far into the area. Insanity.

I kinda feel bad for not going for the sake of keeping her company...

I feel even worse that I'm about to go to a bar and drink... the bar is boarded up like a fortress and has generators... they are planning on staying open all weekend...

plus on top of that... with the latest shift... it looks like my house will just get heavy rain.... nothing to worry about... since it's gonna hit east of houston... and I'm on the west side...
