threeplusfireAh whiskey, how we love your sweet firey warmth. Especially when watching Eddie Izzard. Tyler was in rare form last night and had Melynda and I just howling with laughter. It was good.
Tasty meal at Curra's last night and I had the tacos al pastor plate. Those are the best damn pork tacos I've ever had, with cilantro and roasted pineapple bits and a zingy avocado sauce. We had an informative conversation about babies. You really probably don't want to know.
Stopped off at the Chevron on the way home to see three cruisers and at least two young men in handcuffs. We couldn't peg the ages of the girls, except that one had to be the mother/way older sister of the 11 year old boy. Based on the tattoo I would guess over 18 but uner 21. I have no idea what that was all about, but it didn't look good. Judging by the bikinis they must have been on their way home from the lake.
My travel plans for the day are cancelled, but I think I'll make pie now. Tyler promised to make dinner. Melynda is going to stay a couple extra days with us, and that makes me happy.
