I can't remember the song that comes from. Oh wait, I think I remember now.

My laptop is fixed, an obscene amount of money later. Well at least I don't have to buy a new one. I'm glad to have these familiar keys back in hand.

I want to write a story. I don't have the time or inspiration to do the NaNo thing this year. I just want to write something small, contained and beautiful. I want to write something about Anna. There are these ideas. I'm hoping that it will come together into something.

My brain hurts. Still a week of work to go.

I'm not doing NaNo either, for the first time since it started. I've got an outline that I did at the last minute last year, when I scrapped what I was working on and decided to start over, but I don't have the energy or inspiration to actually write it. I don' t really have any ideas that I could spin into a 50k story, either, even if I had the energy to write them. :(

Yes, Anna from Blood Dawn. I have this entire, convoluted story to go with her. It started off as a crack pot idea because I never played a fighter class character ever. Then I had this insane thought to make her the daughter of a decorated Army general, and put her on the run. Then in the tabletop game I played, her pack got sent to New Orleans with a geas and got involved in some nasty business with vampires and mages. In my version of things, most everyone involved dies except Anna, the vampire, and a couple assorted side characters. It's really clear to me, but I just need to get it down.
