Tyler had to call the police this afternoon. The downstairs neighbor was beatin gthe shift out of her child, it sounded like. We were standing on the balcony, and we could hear the screaming and the sound of blows. It was rather unsettling.

I bought things today. Nightstands, new sheets and a furry red blanket. Delightful. I also bought a new vacuum cleaner. Which is less exciting, but very useful. I'm mostly excited about the blanket. That's the best part.
