The theme of my week is apparently going to be "People who do violent crazy stuff in front of their children." Seriously, I've had a half dozen calls on the subject. I don't get it. Is is the impending holiday and all that together time that makes everyone nuts? Sheesh.

Anyway, I love Christmas. I try not to care about the horrible socioeconomic and cultural bad things that accompany the holidays. I like sparkly decorations, lights, trees, happiness. I want a Christmas tree so badly, and I think it's high time I had one. I never put one up in any of my apartments, and not even while I was married did I have a tree. I want a tree damn it! I'm thinking about getting a little one.

Tuesdays are hard, but the best part is going home to watch House.

You should get a tree. As big of a tree as will fit in your room. There is seriously little in this world that can bring joy like a christmas tree. I like to spend a night in the living room when I put it up, and see twinkling lights when I come to during the night. It makes me feel like a kid again.
