I think I've played too much WoW recently, as it is bleeding into my dreams. But then, Larry Swofford was in my dream and I haven't seen him in nearly ten years. I suppose he is in the military now.

Talked to my father yesterday. Frank's been moved from the ICU to critical care, and they've begun doing corrective and reconstructive surgeries on some of his other injuries. They operated on his jaw and his eye socket the other day. It's definitely an improvement. His wife, Katie, is having a rough time. Frank will be in the hospital over Christmas. I told my father that I could cover the bases with all the gods, so any one you who could spare a kind word with your deity of choice I'd be much obliged.

I attempted to make a mousse like confection last night, but it was more whipped fluff. I think it was the chocolate step that changed the texture so much. Next time I do that I'm going to use cocoa powder instead of melted chocolate and just up the sugar content. It wasn't bad, just not what I expected.

My mission for this morning is to purchase Christmas Day movie tickets. (Done) During the years that the Lord of the Rings movies were coming out, my mother, sister and I would go on Christmas eve. This year I'm working noon to 8pm on the eve, so we have to do it Christmas day. We will see King Kong. My mother is a big fan of the original, and I listened to Fay Wray's shrieks numerous times as a kid.

I need to acquire some wrapping paper, or at least something to disguise the gifts I have on hand. hmm.
