I do have to say that I am rather bummed that the Mistletoe Magic stories are not up for Christmas because five or six people didn't turn in their stuff. Really, superbly inconsiderate.
Sam - sorry I missed your call. I have to work on Monday so no Christmas Karoke for me. Hope it was fun for you though.

I felt absolutely miserable I couldn't get my story done, but I talked to Melle about what to do about it and formally requested a pitch hitter a few days before the deadline.

Not as early as I probably should have, but as panicked as I was I wanted to do it. Stupid real life.

That's not the problem here, with people who said they would turn in and nothing. You did the graceful thing, talked to the mod and got a pinch hitter. Better than just leaving it up in the air.

I suppose I'm really ticked because the person I wrote a story for is one who is holding up the whole deal.
