stupid names often indicate child abuse
Aug. 23rd, 2006 04:55 pmI just took a report on a family that named their child Drizzt. Yes, Drizzt as in Drizzt Do'Urden of the Forgotten Realms RPG and books. Seriously guys, this is so beyond wrong I don't know what to do. My coworker Stacy suggests their next child be named Anita Blake, Buffy, or Xena.

If I ever decided to leave my current occupation I may very well go into teaching; the only problem is deciding between special education where I seem to have a knack or high school where questions like yours start to become interesting debates.

I don't think that many kids have "learning difficulties", well, not beyond they have never learned to sit down, be quiet & LISTEN for once anyhow! But it's many many years since I've had contact with Education - & that was when our two were in school.
