Dear Brew Pub manager,

Sending out a round of shots is not going to make a table overlook the fact that their hamburgers came on moldy buns. Sending out ten rounds of shots might do it though.

I once got served a burger without any bun at all (or roll, as we would say over here). When I asked the waitress if there would be a roll coming, she looked at me like I'd just asked her to drink her own vomit. She said their burgers don't come in rolls (although I'd eaten there before about a month ago, and they did then), but as a massive personal favour, she would see if she could find one. About 10 minutes later she came back with a stale roll.

So if you ever encounter the riddle "when is a bacon cheeseburger not a bacon cheeseburger?" you can answer confidently "when you eat it at Carfraemill".
