I never get tired of singing Tom Petty songs

One of my favorite things about driving is having a good set of mix cds to listen to on the way. The only place I really sing is in the car. (Sorry fellow passengers, now and forever.) Next week we're driving to Dragon*con, so I need to get cracking on some music.

Please suggest your favorite driving songs. If you don't drive, please suggest your favorite riding on public transit/plane/long trip music.

Johnny cash is great for long drives and flights, especially on a helicopter. Although 'Money for Nothing' by Dire Straits always sounded strangely appropriate to hear while zipping across the North Sea.

That Dire Straits songs is one of my favorite ones ever. It always seemed to be on the radio when I was a kid. Thank you for reminding me of that!
