threeplusfireTook almost two and a half hours, but I went through the entire cooking section. Marking books down, straightening them, making the shelves neat and orderly. Not that any customers will be grateful, and it will be a total mess when I go back to work on Saturday. But at least it looked nice once.
Watching the Air Force Secretary on Larry King, and it's just so damn creepy.
Made a 78 on an astronomy test, which was rather disappointing. I thought I did better. Took my Ancient Egypt test, and hopefully it went better. I knew all my hieroglyphics. Perhaps I'll get a hieroglyphic tattoo. That would probably amuse Dr. Nethercut to no end.
Reading Perfume, by Patrick Suskind. A strange book, something I meant to read a long time ago. Erin was fond of it I remember.
In the morning I'm going to gather together things for my mother's birthday present. Some nice soaps, pretty sketches of horses, a book, maybe some candles. I wish I could give her back some of what she has lost. Going to get her a cake too, and vanilla ice cream. Friday we're going to have dinner and eat cake & ice cream.
Dreamed last night that my father showed up at work. He looked so much younger, almost like he did when I was a kid. I miss that man, my father.
Rambling and aimless, I should go to bed.
