I do not have any fortitude to write about the current state of affairs in American politics with any grace or charity. Just looking at it makes me want to scream "fuck you and you and you and you" all over the place. Especially when it comes to the current attacks on the freedom of women to make their own medical decisions. I can't even talk about this in any rational way at the moment. I did manage to send strongly worded letters to various congressional reps, but that exhausted my ability to be rational and calm.

I want to inflict the agony of various medical conditions on the various men I've seen in the news today. Every single one of them should be fucking ashamed of their inhumanity.

I'm actually encouraged by all the asshattery of the past week or two. The way I figure it, they can get away with demonizing immigrants, because that's a minority voting population. They can get away with making gays the enemy (and you don't even exist, because the concept is too far out for them), because, another minority voting population.

Pissing off 50% of the voting population with all these birth control and fetal personhood shenanigans is a whole other ballpark, and they don't seem to realize it yet.
